„And I love you“ ist ein Statement für die bedingungslose Liebe. Wahre Liebe erfüllt, vergibt, überwindet und ist es wert, für sie zu kämpfen. Der Song ist aber auch ein Bekenntnis von Grayhound O.C.D. zur „Liebe“ als ihrem bevorzugtem Thema. Seit Bandgründung zieht sich dieses wie ein roter Faden durch die Texte von Sänger und Songschreiber Gray. Hatte man früher vor allem den Weg über hymnische Rocksongs gewählt, so fühlt sich „And I love you“ auch im Pop und Dance zu Hause. Breite Keyboardflächen dominieren die Gitarren, ein gefühlvoll-warmer Gesang wird von hypnotischen Chören begleitet.
Bereits seit Ihrer Gründung 2010 erfährt die Band aus Hessen große Beachtung seitens der Radiostationen. Noch vor Release der ersten EP wurde man von namenhaften Rundfunkanstalten, wie etwa dem Hessischen Rundfunk, eingeladen. Weiteres Airplay bei großen Sendern, wie z.B.SWR3, BigFM, Radio Bob, Radio Hamburg,oder dem Saarländischen Rundfunk folgten. Auch das Fernehen und bekannte Internetformate, wie z.B. „Balcony TV“ zeigten bald Interesse an Grayhound O.C.D. Seit 2012 arbeitet man mit „Deuce Management & Promotion“ aus London zusammen, was Aufmerksamkeit in vielen Ländern Europas, Amerika und auch in Neuseeland zur Folge hatte und der Band half,einen Schritt aus bekanntem Terrain zu wagen.
Der sicherlich größte Erfolg bislang war die Nominierung des Songs „Where my heart has its home“ bei den „Hollywood Music in Media Awards 2013“. Außerdem wurde der Titel im selben Jahr beim „Deutschen Rock und Pop Preis“ ausgezeichnet.
Grayhound O.C.D. verstehen es, auf unverwechselbare Art und Weise in Ihren Songs Dynamik und Entspanntheit zu vereinen und Gefühle zu transportieren, ohne dem Pathos zu erliegen. „And I love you“ wird am 16.Januar 2015 veröffentlicht.

“And I love you” is a statement for unconditional love. True love fulfills, forgives, overcomes and is worth fighting for. The song however, is also a confession, that “love” is Grayhound OCD’s preferred topic. Since the band’s inception, this runs like a red thread through the lyrics of singer and songwriter Gray. Even though previously they mainly chose the way of anthemic rock songs, “And I love you” also feels at home in the pop and dance genre. Wide keyboard sounds dominate the guitars, a soulful, warm singing is accompanied by hypnotic choirs.
Since its founding in 2010, the band from Hessen has gotten a lot of attention from radio stations. Even before the release of the first EP they were invited from reputable broadcasters such as the Hessische Rundfunk. More airplay followed with major broadcasters such as zBSWR3, BigFM, Radio Bob, Radio Hamburg, or Saarland Radio. Also, TV and known Internet formats, such as “Balcony TV” soon showed interest in Grayhound OCD. They have been working with “Deuce Management & Promotion” from London since 2012, which created attention in many European countries, America and also in New Zealand and the helped band to dare step out of their comfort zone.
The biggest success so far certainly was the nomination of the song “Where my heart has its home” at the “Hollywood Music in Media Awards 2013 ‘. In addition, the song was distinguished the same year at the “Deutschen Rock und Pop Preis”.
Grayhound O.C.D. knows how to combine dynamics and relaxation and convey emotions in their songs in a distinctive way, without succumbing to the pathos. “And I love you” will be released 2015, on January 16th.
